Dr. Robbie Hooker was the 2013 Georgia High School Principal of the Year. Dr Hooker led Clarke Central High School starting in 2008.  Under his leadership, the school was named as one of the top 7 percent of high schools nationwide by The Washington Post’s High School Challenge. Clarke Central was also regularly named an Advanced Placement Honor School by the Georgia Department of Education. Dr. Hooker’s Non-Negotiable Practices for High Student Performance ensure that his faculty and staff are committed to high quality instructional practices in every classroom. Dr. Hooker is currently Assistant Superintendent High Schools, Henry County Schools.
